INFORMATION FOR 2021 SEASON
The YQL GROM ARMY program is a branch of the Headwind Cycling Club. It is a mountain/road bike program for youth riders. The program is ran by volunteer instructors and has a limited capacity of 40 riders. Riders must be a minimum age of 7 (as of Jan 1st 2021) and complete a rider assessment test in order to participate. Priority is given to the 2020 grom members.
WHY A RIDER ASSESSMENT TEST?
There are 4 levels of riders in the GROM ARMY and each group is limited to 8-10 riders. This allows the coaches to sort riders into similar fitness levels and skills. The assessment is not a registration, it is for athletes and parents to see what the GROM ARMY entails. Registration will open after the assessment day.
RIDER ASSESSMENT DAY
Rider assessment days will happen on the following days.
April 25, 2021 @ Lethbridge Mountain Bike Park
