JULY- Everest/Olympus Mons Month
Everyone’s favorite challenge...how many metres can you climb in a month. Yes, you will have to dig down and find something special inside for this one. Here are your challenges:
1. Mount Washington on Vancouver Island 1590m
2. Castle Mountain Ski Hill 2377m
3. Mount Blakiston (highest peak in Waterton) 2940m
4. Mount Columbia (highest in Alberta) 3741m
5. Mount Everest (highest in the world) 8848m
6. Olympus Mons (highest on Mars) 21287m
This month’s prizes sponsored by Ascent Cycle:
*You only get entered into one of the draws that match your mileage. For example if you go 3800m you get entered in the 3741m draw, not all the lower ones.
You will need to prove this one. Show us a strava or other device app that shows your elevation for the month. What if you don’t have that? Well that is a tough one. But maybe your mom, dad or someone can download strava or another app on their phone and track it for you. Or maybe you know someone that has a gps watch, that will let you use it for your rides.
